Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small records a website stores through your browser. Local storage is different: it keeps records on your device and is not automatically attached to every request, but privacy and consent rules can still apply.
Current essential and requested storage
ClearCalc uses local storage for calculator preferences, saved scenarios, selected currency, financial health results, a dismissed language suggestion and cookie choices. These records support requested functions and are not used to track you across other sites. They remain until removed or cleared by your browser.
External services such as hosting, Google Fonts or Gmail have their own processing disclosures. This site currently contains no active AdSense or analytics scripts; ad placements are fixed-size placeholders.
Optional advertising and analytics
Advertising and analytics are separate optional categories, off unless you accept them. Accept all enables both choices; Reject all leaves both off; Manage lets you save a selection. Necessary storage remains enabled. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer and withdraw optional permission at any time.
Changing a preference does not delete cookies that a third party has already set. Use browser controls and the provider’s settings where needed. Rejecting optional choices does not remove your saved calculator scenarios.
Planned Google AdSense and CMP replacement
Before introducing AdSense, replace this preference interface with a Google-certified consent management platform for applicable audiences, configure vendors and consent signals, and keep optional tags blocked until a valid choice permits them. This interface is not Google-certified and does not implement the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework or Google Consent Mode.
Advertising cookies may support ad selection, personalization, measurement, fraud protection and frequency limits. Vendor names, cookie names, purposes and lifetimes must be disclosed from the actual installed setup, not invented in this policy. Non-personalized advertising can still use storage and require consent.
Managing storage and further information
Your browser can block or delete cookies and site storage. Clearing all ClearCalc site data also removes saved scenarios and health results, so export anything you want to keep first. Preferences saved in one browser do not automatically apply to another device.
